Abstract Submission

Guidelines for authors

  • Create an account on the Oxford Abstracts website
  • Submit your abstract through the online submission form
  • Please choose the most relevant subject category to assist with the reviewing process. If the options description is incomplete try to zoom-out the browser window
  • The abstract should be an explicit summary of your presentation, giving the reader a brief overview of the problem, the objectives, the methodology used, the main results and conclusions
  • Keep abstract content to less than 300 words
  • Thalassa 2024 Conference will follow a Double-Blind abstract review process. Therefore, insert your abstract in the relevant field, without including any author information
  • The preferred presentation type will be taken into consideration but the decision will be made based on the number of submissions and the reviewing process
  • Under Authors & Affiliation input details for each author of the paper. At least one author must be marked as the presenter
  • The conference will take place with physical presence; the speaker will be required to present their work in person
  • Presenting authors can submit a maximum of one abstract. They can, however, be co-authors in other submitted abstracts
  • Once you complete the abstract submission form click on the SUBMIT button
  • Abstracts forms can not be edited once submitted

The abstracts will be peer-reviewed by a Scientific Committee formed by experts in the field and the decision for acceptance/rejection will be based on submitted abstracts only. The authors will be informed of the decision via email.

If at any point you are having trouble submitting, or require more information, please contact us at: thalassa.conferences@cmmi.blue
