The Academic Affairs Unit oversees the postgraduate programs that are jointly developed by CMMI and academia. It also serves as the secretariat for the CMMI Senate (the Directors of all Centres) and is the liaison to the IAIAC and CMMI Fellows.

With its expertise in educational and training programs, it works with MHEC and KInEC towards the Accreditation of CMMI facilities and trainers from all centres by the Human Resource Development Authority of the Republic of Cyprus. This accreditation, once obtained, will allow CMMI – and its centres – to provide accredited Vocational Education and Training to the industry and other interested parties.
