CMMI and State Aid

divide2

Position of CMMI and its clients

CMMI will not grant fund or award prizes to any people or organisations from the funding it receives from the Teaming proposal. The Financial Controller of CMMI will have final sign-off on the business models associated with delivering access to all assets created from this Teaming grant (whether IP in any form or demonstration and test facilities) to ensure that CMMI can demonstrate that no users, clients or networks are receiving State Aid from this funding indirectly distributed by CMMI.

Position of CMMI and its receipt and use of funding

CMMI will only use the “core” Teaming grant to build its capability and capacity to deliver its vision where this could include the appropriate procurement of goods and services meaning that none of its use of funds could be considered as representing State Aid. When bidding for funding (for example for RTD and Innovation) from public sector organisations (including any EU Framework Programmes), the Financial Controller of CMMI will ensure that CMMI can evidence its sources of matching funds to ensure that none of the contractual income streams could be deemed to represent breaches of State Aid regulations.
