Marina Loizidou is an Assistant Scientist at the Maritime Digitalisation Center (MDigiC) of the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute. She obtained degrees in Mathematics (BSc) from the University of Leicester, Statistics (MSc) from Imperial College London and Finance (MSc) from the University of Cyprus. She has extensive experience in the area of Financial Statistics and has worked in the industry for over 7 years.
Marina is currently working on statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques and models to answer key questions on existing and new projects of the Center, towards the digital transformation of Blue Economy sectors. In addition, she is involved in technical, financial and project management tasks of the Center.
