Dr. Constantinou holds multiple degrees from England, specialising in fields related to biomedicine and education. She pursued her Masters in Biological Sciences with a focus on Cellular Pathology. Subsequently, her career in diagnostics began. Her educational journey continued with an MA in Science Education, driven by a keen interest in pedagogics. Notably, she secured a scholarship and successfully obtained her PhD in Educational Research and Development.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Constantinou has contributed in both England and Cyprus. She holds the title of Associate Fellow in the Higher Education Academy in the UK, further solidifying her expertise. Additionally, she possesses a postgraduate degree in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, showcasing her dedication to enhancing the field of education.

Coming from a pure sciences background, she is actively expanding her research interests and attempting to incorporate a more empirical approach in social science research. She has been involved in publishing as well as presenting and chairing well reputable Science Education conferences internationally and her work has received various awards and distinctions.
