Eleftherios Solomou serves as an Assistant Scientist at MOSTEC, where he contributes to the field of maritime engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and a Master of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, both obtained from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). His master’s program specialised in ship design and the safety aspects associated with large cargo vessels.

Prior to his current role, Eleftherios gained experience working with a prominent German ship management company, where he played a role as an assistant in the realm of planned maintenance systems. Additionally, he has enriched his expertise at one of the world’s largest international classification societies, where he contributed as an assistant within the Hull, Machinery, and TOC department.

At the heart of his professional pursuits lies a deep-rooted passion for investigating the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic performance of vessels, exemplifying his commitment to advancing the maritime industry.
