Dr Antri Theodorou graduated from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Cyprus, and she holds an MSc in Polymer Material Science and Engineering from the University of Manchester. In 2009 she completed her PhD degree in the sector of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Sciences, at the University of Manchester. Her research so far has been concerned with the ability to prepare high molecular weight polymers and to accurately control the polydispersity which becomes of increasing importance in polymer science from both an academic and industrial viewpoint.

Dr Theodorou has a working experience of more than 10 years in the coordination of various proposals and projects. Dr Theodorou participated in and coordinated successfully projects under the following programmes: 7FP, ERANET MED, H2020, ERASMUS+ LEONARDO DA VINCI, GRUNDTVIG, COSME, CULTURE, CREATIVE EUROPE, CONNECTING EUROPE FACILITIES, INTERREG, INTERREG BALKAN-MED, EMFF, ENI CBC MED, HORIZON EUROPE, RESTART.

Since March 2022, Dr Theodorou has been working at the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) as a Senior Scientist dealing with proposals/ projects and other related initiatives of the Blue Economy.
