Charalambos Rotsides is a Full Stack Developer at the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute’s Maritime Digitalization Centre. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Cyprus. During his studies, he worked on several notable projects including a mobile application that predicts and addresses impending insulin drops in diabetic patients, and a point-of-sale system tailored for a local store, encompassing product, customer, order, and voucher management, among other functionalities.
At CMMI, Charalambos creates user experiences that cover both back-end and front-end development. He designs and maintains databases, drives the institute’s digital transformation, manages CI/CD processes, and helps bring research to the market. In addition to his primary roles, Charalambos is delving deeper into the realm of Machine Learning Engineering and Data Analysis. He is currently expanding his expertise in Deep Learning, particularly focusing on Computer Vision techniques, and immersing himself in the world of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) to streamline the deployment and management of machine learning models.
