CMMI had the pleasure of welcoming in Larnaca Mr. Demetris Skourides, Chief Scientist for Research, Innovation & Technology of the Republic of Cyprus.

Mr Skourides visited CMMI in the framework of SeaTecHub Consortium Meeting, where the project’s potential was discussed, as well as progress made so far, engaging in meaningful dialogue with consortium partners.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming H.E Ambassador of Portugal Vanda Sequeira who participated at a very interesting lecture delivered by Prof. Nuno Cruz, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

CMMI is hosting in Larnaca its Croatian partners at SeaTecHub project. Multiple events are taking place, such as expert visits and innovation trainings that foster mutual learning and skills development, thematic workshops under the Cross-Border Joint R&I Strategic Orientation initiative aiming to address the needs and gaps in the Blue Economy, networking events exploring potential collaborations and synergies with over 50 stakeholders, a visit to the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research (DFMR), Limassol port and much more.
